Caframo is equally committed to community as it is to designing and building high quality products. Corporately, we support community initiatives, non-profit organizations and service clubs in Wiarton, Georgian Bluffs, Owen Sound and surrounding areas. In addition to our corporate giving, since 2000, our employees select one local charity each year to support through fundraising efforts as a group.
Last year, our Employees selected the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association.
Caframo was honoured to take part in a presentation by the Biosphere to recognize local landowners and funders for their support and donation for their recent work in protecting the waterways in #SouthBrucePeninsula. This recent funding helped to provide alternative water access to over 6,000 cattle and installed 20 km of protective fencing around streams.
The Biosphere undertakes projects including protecting our forests, improving water quality, monitoring the ecosystems, controlling invasive species, and bringing awareness of the importance of protecting our dark skies.
